For Learners

County Literacy Council helps adult learners by pairing them with volunteer tutors, to focus on their educational needs.

Tutors teach adult learners in one-on-one or small group classes. Classes are usually held at your local library, or other convenient public location.

Classes are free. The Literacy Council requests an initial, one-time $20 registration fee to help cover program costs and textbooks. Scholarships are available based upon financial need.
